Purchase and Installation of Hexagon Shaped Steel Picnic Shelter With Double-tier Roof at Corson Riverwoods County Park Any addenda issued for the Bid Package will also be available at the Elkhart County Parks Office at 211 W. Lincoln Ave., Goshen, IN 46526 and will be provided to any Bidder providing notice of its intent to place a bid. Bidder agrees to deliver the Products and perform the Services set forth in any accepted bid pursuant to the Bid Package documents. The Elkhart County Park and Recreation Board reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bid process and to reject any or all bids. A non-collusion affidavit requried by statute must be fully executed and provided with the bid. Any bid submitted must be signed by an authorized signatory of the Bidder, or the bid of the Bidder may, at the discretion of Elkhart County, be rejected and declared invalid. The bidder must also attach all materials required by the Bid Package documents including completion of and attachments to Indiana State Form 52414: Contractor's Bid for Public Works Form 96. No bid can be withdrawn after the opening of the bids. Bids may be held for up to sixty (60) days. If a bid is accepted, the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder whose bid is determined in writing to be the most advantageous to Elkhart County. A satisfactory bid bond or certified check equal to 5% of the bid amount, payable to the Elkhart County Park and Recreation Board must be submitted with each bid. Elkhart County is exempt from all federal, state, and local taxes, and will not be responsible for any taxes levied on the bidders as a result of any contract awarded. Elkhart County will not be liable for any costs incurred by the respective bidders in submitting a bid or in anticipation of being awarded a contract. It is understood the bids will become a part of Elkhart County's official files and will be open to public inspection. The receipt and retention of the bids does not obligate Elkhart County to any action.
