Bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified checkmade payable to the Downers Grove Public Library equalto 10% of the base bid amount shall be submitted with thebid. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds,and Certificate of Insurance will be required from the successful bidder. Downers Grove Public Library reserves the right to rejectany or all documents submitted or parts thereof, to waiveany irregularities or informalities in the prequalificationprocedures and to approve trade contractors to bid in amanner serving the interest of the Downers Grove PublicLibrary. All bidders must comply with the applicable Illinois Lawrequiring the payment of prevailing wages by all contractors working on public projects, and bidders must complywith the Illinois Statutory requirements regarding, but notlimited to, labor, bidding and Equal Opportunity Laws.
