As of August 26, 2024. Project is awarded to American Asphalt in the amount of $71,109.50. Lincoln-Spencer Road project begins at Robin Road and goes West 1700 Feet. The overall length of the project is approximately 1700 feet. Asphalt Pavement Work Includes: Traffic control and signage required per MUTCD Standards. Fine grade, water and compact existing base material, shape base to a 2 percent cross slope, Sawcut or mill existing asphalt at all areas new asphalt will be tied in. Pave asphalt roadway 22 feet wide with type 4LT 58-28, 3 inches thick, placed in 2- lifts. Tack coat required between lifts at a rate of 05 to 07 gallons per S.Y. Lower layer of asphalt to be swept if needed before tack coat is applied. Shouldering Work Includes: Furnish, place and compact % inch crushed aggregate for shoulders 2 feet wide by 3 inches deep with a shouldering machine. Work to include tapering material into driveways. All work to be completed by October 31, 2024.
