Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Valdosta, Georgia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a road / highway; for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work consists of demolition and removal of designated areas of asphalt pavement; milling of designated areas of existing asphalt pavement; installation of new stormwater drainage system, grading; concrete sidewalk and curb-&-gutter, adjustment of existing manholes and watermains and valves/valve boxes, installation of new base and paving; application of painted and thermoplastic pavement striping and markings, and all related work. 5,400linear feet of sidewalk, stormwater drainage system, and street paving improvements including related work. The City of Valdosta reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and to read-vertise Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount of not less than five(5) percent of the amount bid. A Contract Performance Bond and Payment Bond equal to one hundred (100) percent of the contract price will be required. If bid price is $25,000.00 or less no bonds are required.
