The approximate extent and character of the Work is generally described as follows: Paulding County (County) is soliciting Qualification-Based Proposals exhibiting the expertise to provide scoping, preliminary engineering, and final design services for Dallas Acworth Highway (CR 710) and associated intersections, within the New Hope community, located in Paulding County Georgia. The corridor and associated road intersections with the project area should be designed to provide a standard Level of Service into planning year 2050. Paulding County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive informalities and technicalities, to reject portions of the proposals, and to award contracts in a manner consistent with the County and the laws governing the State of Georgia. Each proposal requires two (2) submittals per package. The Technical Proposals (1 unbound original, 5 bound copies and an electronic version) must be completed and submitted in a SEALED ENVELOPE, addressed to the OWNER. Each sealed envelope containing a Proposal must be plainly marked on the outside as, RFP # 25004-1503 Professional Engineering Design Services for the New Hope Corridor Improvement Project and include on the envelope the due date and time along with the company or individual submitting the proposal. The Cost Proposal (1 hard copy) must be completed and submitted in a SEALED ENVELOPE, addressed to the OWNER.
