The City of Oxnard is seeking a qualified Contractor to provide on-call minor repair and maintenance services of landscape and irrigation systems located throughout the City of Oxnard. The City of Oxnard, incorporated as a general law city in 1903, is located about sixty miles west of the Los Angeles Civic Center and about ten miles southeast of the City of Ventura. It is situated near the mouth of the Santa Clara River on a gently sloping alluvial fan commonly known as the Oxnard Plain. Elevations in the City range from mean sea level to about 100 feet above mean sea level. Today, the City of Oxnard has a population of more than 210,000 residents and its corporate limits cover an area of about 32 square miles. Contractor shall perform all Tasks in a good and workmanlike manner for the project identified as On-Call Landscape and Irrigation Systems Minor Repair and Maintenance Services ("Project"), as described in this solicitation and in the Contract Documents, throughout the Contract Term. The Contractor shall provide on-call minor repair and maintenance services of landscape and irrigation systems located throughout the City of Oxnard as requested through Task Order. Contractor may be asked to assist with work for multiple divisions/departments throughout the City. Such services may include but are not limited to:
1. Inspect irrigation systems and identify required maintenance needs.
2. Repair, maintain, or replace worn, damaged, or potentially faulty components in irrigation systems.
3. Convert/reconfigure existing irrigation systems and components for proper coverage of landscaped areas.
4. Maintenance of and rehabilitation of landscaped areas.
5. Provide reports on the condition of the landscape and irrigation systems as requested. All costs for labor for these calls shall be included in the Bid sheets. The period of performance anticipated for this solicitation shall be for a period of up to three (3) years beginning, December 4, 2024 or effective upon signature of an Agreement by both parties, through December 3, 2027, unless terminated earlier. After the third year, and each year thereafter, the City shall have the option to extend the term pursuant to the Agreement, upon mutually acceptable services, cost adjustments, and the City requirements.
