The City of Sherwood is seeking professional engineering services from multiple consulting firms to complete work on five (5) separate Contracts associated with the delivery of Public Improvements during the current and pending fiscal years with an optional third fiscal year at the City's discretion. For the purposes of this RFP the nature of the services requested will be provided by private "design professionals" meaning an architect, landscape architect, professional engineer or professional land surveyor registered under ORS chapter 671 or 672 or licensed to practice as an architect, landscape architect, professional engineer or professional land surveyor in another state and directly assisting the City or its agencies in the delivery of public improvement projects, including small City projects, preliminary design & feasibility studies (long-term), committed CIP projects in final-design/right-of-wayacquisition/construction phases, and private development projects. The City will use a separate evaluation & scoring process and separate 3-person evaluation committee to select consultants for each Contract, although the same member may serve on the evaluation committee for multiple Contracts. In addition, all firms submitting Proposals by the RFP deadline will comprise the City's List of Interested Consultants pursuant to OAR 137-048-0120 for the current and pending fiscal years. The City will utilize this list in addition to Consultant Lists maintained by the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) for consulting firms with active full-service engineering price agreements to issue smaller Direct Appointment contracts (Less than $100,000). Contract descriptions: Four (4) of the Contracts will be Price Agreements with each limited to a maximum of $250,000.00 expended over a 2-3 fiscal year period, with two (2) of those Contracts for general civil engineering services and the other two (2) Contracts for general traffic engineering services. In addition to those on-call services Contracts, the City seeks a fifth Contract with the most qualified Proposer that will exceed $250,000 to complete the City's next Transportation System Plan (TSP) Update. The City will use a separate evaluation & scoring process and 3- person evaluation committee for the TSP Update Contract, although the same member may serve on the evaluation committee for multiple Contracts. The City's anticipated budget for the TSP Update Project is $500,000. One consultant will be selected for each Contract.
