Last Day to Submit Questions: September 3, 2024, 2:00 PM This project will improve the safety and functionality of approximately 3,200 feet of SE Douglas Street from SE Blue Parkway to SE 4th Street and improve accommodations for multi-modal transportation. The proposed roadway will be two (2) lanes with share the road bicycle facilities, on street parking (one side), and 5-foot sidewalks along each side of Douglas Street. It will also include improvements to the existing storm drainage system, the addition of lighting, curb and gutter, ADA accommodations, and waterline replacement. Work required on this project will include traffic and stormwater analysis and engineering, surveying, curb and gutter, enclosed storm drainage, sidewalk, water replacement, intersection design, street lighting, signing, pavement markings, environmental permitting, and utility relocation in accordance with established SUE quality levels. The consultant will be responsible for water quality BMPs, sustainable design elements and tree replacement, if appropriate. Exhibits and legal descriptions for right-of-way acquisition, permanent easements, and temporary construction easements will be required.
