Bremerton School District (BSD) requests statement of qualifications (SOQ) from Progressive Design-Builders for the replacement of Armin Jahr and View Ridge Elementary Schools using the procurement permitted under Chapter 39.10 of the RCW, as amended, for selected school projects for public works contracting in lieu of sealed bids. The project consists of building two new school buildings, play fields, and site facilities that will house all Armin Jahr and View Ridge Elementary Schools. The Design-Builder shall provide high quality services for both schools simultaneously including scheduling, phasing logistics, collaboration with the design consultants, manage and estimate design budgets and design contingency solutions, assist in risk identification and management thereof, coordinate environmental and hazmat investigation services and plans, direct construction best-practices, organize design investigative work and provide assistance in the selection of materials and building systems, solicit and manage subcontractor bid packages and supplier bidding while providing high-quality construction services to safely deliver a superior project that comprises the full scope of program needs set by BSD that is on time, meets or exceeds quality and under budget.
