The Project must achieve Substantial Completion, including the installation of all sprigs and allowable grow-in period, prior to July 31, 2025. Provide a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid as a guarantee that the contract and bond will be entered into within ten (10) days after the award is made. The Bid Bond is five (5) percent of the City's budget of $40,000,000. A Proposal must be accompanied by a Proposal security in the form of an acceptable Bid Bond, cashier's check, or certified check in the name of the City. The Bid Security of the Selected Proposer will be retained as security until performance and payment bonds for 100 percent of the executed Agreement amount have been provided. The Proposal security of other Proposers whom the City believes to have a reasonable chance of receiving the award may be retained by City until the earlier of 7 days after the effective date of the Agreement or 90 days after the Proposals are opened.
