Renovation of a municipal facility in Pelham, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The Town of Pelham, hereinafter referred to as the "Town", is soliciting proposals from qualified vendor applicants to execute interior renovation of the Planning Department's portion of its building, as designed on April 24, 2024 by Alternate Designs Inc. This renovation project will consist of filling portions of open ceiling with structural flooring sufficient to support the significant weight of 5 office spaces, filing cabinets, shelving, etc. Also, construction of 4 offices on the first floor. Services shall include, but not be limited to, the following: Temporary Relocation of Office to Sherburne Hall Move and relocate all existing office furniture and filing cabinets to Meeting Room across hall from Planning Department. First Floor Demolition: Remove existing stairs as per architectural plan Remove existing counter and half walls Remove existing carpet and prepare flooring to accept new flooring and wall base Remove door and frame on existing office space and create new opening for new 3'x7' door. Demo existing countertops in lobby area Remove existing ceiling lights Relocate existing sprinkler piping Relocate existing HVAC Ductwork/Ensure proper functioning climate control throughout area of remodel. Baseboard heat demo to be determined by heating contractor. Second Floor Demolition Existing railings and posts to be removed and reused at new floor opening First Floor Construction Replace countertops with new laminate Paint walls around counter tops Relocate, add or remove sprinkler heads in affected areas Miscellaneous caulking and sealants Install light fixtures Lighting modifications to other affected areas Patch existing drywall as needed where new ceiling meets current walls Carpet tiles installed in new office spaces Prep and paint all walls (2 coats) and railings Install vinyl baseboard to match other vinyl baseboard in building Wipe clean all surfaces and vacuum new carpet Any changes in scope either by the Town or recommended by the contractor, will require a formal document and written estimate of work/cost, authorized by the Board of Selectmen. The Town reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any and all bids, waive formalities, negotiate with the most responsible applicants, and select the proposal determined in their judgment to be most advantageous to the Town, taking into consideration the evaluation factors set forth in the Request for Proposal. The Town shall not be liable for any claims, bids, or applicants not selected. Proposals should be presented in a straight-forward and concise manner and contain a description of the applicant's ability to meet the requirements of this RFP. All services to be performed shall be carried out by licensed, certified in a manner consistent with industry standards, insured, bonded, and experienced personnel.
