The Work includes but is not limited to: The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) is soliciting quotes to provide environmental Emergency Response and related services for a three (3) year contract period. Emergency Response, as used in this Scope of Work, is defined as an expedited effort to mitigate the impact of an incident on the public and the environment. The guiding principles of such response shall be to preserve life and minimize risks to the health and safety of emergency responders and the public, contain and/or control the release of pollutants and remediate environmental impacts. Each bid submitted shall remain firm for at least ninety (90) days from the date of the Bid Opening and may not be withdrawn in whole or in part during that time. By submitting a bid, the bidder certifies that the bid price is held firm for that time and any extension thereof.
