**Please note, if contractors purchase or acquire the plans through your company, they will not be eligible to bid. To be eligible, contractors MUST purchase plans directly from Colliers Engineering & Design, as directed in the Notice to Bidders.** All work on this contract shall be completed within Forty-Five (45) calendar days. Construction shall be done from October 1st through November 15th of 2024. The project scope includes tree plantings, tree trimming, tree removal, HMA removal, concrete removal and two (2) years of maintenance on all plantings. Proposals must be made on the standard Proposal forms in the manner designated in the Contract documents, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the Contractor and the name of the project on the outside and be addressed to the Audubon Public School District, 350 Edgewood Avenue, Audubon, NJ, and must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and acceptable to the Audubon Public School District. This project is partially funded by the College of New Jersey (TCNJ) Trees for Schools Grant. The Contractors shall adhere to all requirements of said agency. The School District or the Engineer reserves the right to require a complete experience statement from prospective contractor showing that they have satisfactorily completed work of the nature required before awarding the Contract. Proposals for this Contract will only be accepted from contractors who have properly qualified in accordance with the requirements of the Contract documents. The right is also reserved to reject any or all contractors or to waive any informalities where such informality is not detrimental to the best interest of the Borough. The right is also reserved to increase or decrease the quantities specified in the manner designated in the Specifications. The successful contractor shall be required to comply with the following: A. Affirmative Action requirements (P.L. 1975, C.127, N.J.A.C. 17:27, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq.). B. The provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq.). C. DPMC - NJ Department of Property Management & Construction Certification required, and must be in the Package at time of Receipt, current for 2024; certified for Landscape Construction (C057). D. Anti-Kickback Regulations under Section 2 of the Act of June 13, 1934, known as the Copeland Act. E. Worker and Community Right-to-Know Act (N.J.S.A. 34:5A-1). F. New Jersey Business Registration Certificate (P.L. 2004 C.57 & P.L. 2009, c.315). G. Disclosure of Investment Activities in Iran (P.L. 2012, C.25). Moreover, the proposal must be accompanied by a list of names and addresses of all stockholders owning 10% or more of the stock in accordance with the provisions of the Public Disclosure Law (P.L. 1988, C.33, N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2).
