Project is located in a multi-story office building that is currently occupied and will remain occupied during construction. b. Work areas consist of existing storage areas at the basement level, main entry lobby and common circulation at Level 01, existing office space and public facing service areas at Level 01, existing office shell space and common circulation areas at Level 02, egress Stairs 1 and 2 on all levels and existing elevator hoistway openings at all levels. c. The Register of Deeds and Vital Records services areas must remain open to the public during business hours throughout construction. 2. Demolition: a. Removal of walls, doors and frames, ceilings, finishes, and equipment in all Work Areas to prepare for new construction as defined by the Drawings. b. Removal of railings, hose cabinets, doors and frames at egress stairs to prepare for new construction as defined by the Drawings. 3. Renovation/New Construction a. New fire protection system at the Basement Level and Level 01 Lobby as defined by the Drawings. b. Renovations to Level 01 entry lobbies, common corridors, existing office suite and public facing service areas including new walls, finishes, doors, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems,security, IT and AV as defined by the Drawings. New office suite upfit to existing shell space at Level 02 including new walls, finishes, doors, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems, security, IT and AV as defined by the Drawings. d. Level 02 common corridor repair of finishes related to demolition including small areas of new flooring and ceiling as defined by the Drawings. e. Renovations to egress Stair 1 & 2 including new railings, doors, finishes and lighting as defined by the Drawings. f. New smoke curtainsinstalled at elevator hoistway openings at each elevator on all Levels as defined by the Drawings.
