Demolition, site work, remodeling, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Bremerton, Washington. Completed plans call for the addition of a bridge / tunnel.

Description of work: Farragut Tunnel (B752) at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS) provides an enclosed route beneath Farragut Avenue to run and distribute vital utility services from plants to dry docks, support building facilities, and yards. The main tunnel runs in an east-west direction, with laterals of varying length typically running north-south to provide utility distribution to necessary facilities. Distribution continues in some instances through trenches, utilidors, galleries, and additional tunnel structures which are all outside the scope of this project. The entirety of the tunnel is located within the Controlled Industrial Area (CIA) at PSNS. Scope of work includes structural concrete repair using minimally invasive techniques including use of FRP from within tunnel. Additional locations will receive spall and crack repairs, and installation of corrosion protection measures. Select demo, repair, and replacement of Mechanical and Electrical equipment will also occur. Notes: Davis-Bacon wages required Use tax required on permanent materials and equipment Concept drawings are provided as part of the RFP. These will be the basis for our proposal. Additional design info "may" be provided prior to bid. Please reach out if you have any questions in regards to submitting a proposal. Part 1 and 2 of the RFP includes general DIV 01 specs. Part 3 of the RFP provides the project program narrative. Part 4 of the RFP provides technical specifications, by uniformat classification system. Part 5 of the RFP includes prescriptive specs for DIV 02, 03, 09, 26, 33, 43 Part 6 of the RFP has multiple attachments. Most pertinent for interested subcontractors are the concept drawings, hazardous material sampling for demo subcontractors, reference drawings and as-builts, historical tunnel studies, and photographs
