Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in West Columbia, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The WORK generally consists of installing 1,070 linear feet of 8" waterline, two wet connections, 245 linear feet of 8" water line bores under driveways and sidewalks, two 8" x 8" wet connections to existing 8" AC water line, reconnect two (2) fire hydrants to the proposed 8" water line after proposed 8" water line is in service, reconnect 13 water line services to the proposed 8" water line after proposed 8" water line is place into service, plug and abandon existing 6" water line after the proposed 8" water line is placed into service and other items of work as detailed in the plans. Qualifications of Bidders, insurer, and sureties are set forth in the Bidding Documents. Bidders are notified that there are minimum experience requirements in the Instructions to Bidders and/or Technical Specifications. A Bid Security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid will be required, as detailed in the Bidding Documents. The Owner reserves the right to waive performance and payment bonds. Document Note: Contract Bid Documents will be shipped at the requestor's expense. Payment will be by check, cashier's check or money order only made payable to Baker & Lawson, Inc. (Engineer). Contract Documents are also available for download at online.
