The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure is seeking a consultant to provide drone structural inspection services for bridge structures province wide. The Consultant will offer drone-based structural inspection services, related inspection services, and miscellaneous materials inspection and evaluation services on an "As and When Required" basis in support of the Ministry's Bridge Inspection Program. "As and When Required" contract will have a 2-year total contract capacity of $500,000.00 and will service all areas of the province. The actual annual budget will be defined by the Ministry Contact Person prior to the Proponent preparing their work plan. Specific to drone structural inspections, the Proponent shall provide a minimum of two field personnel to perform this service. Unless otherwise specified, services will include: Aerial visual condition assessment and rating of the bridge structures and its subsequent elements. Aerial inspection and general visual description of deck underside and other bridge components. High-resolution photographic and video documentation. Data interpretation and completion of individual condition survey reports. If requested, additional services may include: Thermal imaging surveys to detect hidden defects. 3D modeling and mapping of bridge components. Remedial recommendations specific to short-term maintenance and repair strategies. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
