August 30,2024, project was awarded to Emery Construction Group Inc., awarded amount is $589,505.65. This project is located at four alleys as indicated in the plans. Additional work is included at Riverview Terrace Park. The proposed improvements include, but are not limited to, the furnishing of all labor for the removal of the PCC and HMA pavement at various project locations, placement of full depth aggregate stone base material, geo fabric / grid materials if needed, reconstruction of the pavement, replacement of the adjacent driveway approaches, reconstruction of sidewalk at intersections including ADA ramp construction, topsoil and sodding and erosion control. The quantities herein represent the Engineer's estimate of the amount of work to be completed. Actual as-built quantities may vary from bid quantities. 2024 Alley Resurfacing Program For all bids over $100,000, the City of Davenport requires a Bid Bond of 5% of the bid amount. A copy of the front page of the bid bond must be attached in the "Response Attachments" tab of the bid package. Bids over $100,000, submitted without a bid bond will not be considered. For awarded bids over $100,000, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, and said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the Contract and the terms and conditions therein contained. Working Days -The Contractor shall complete all work, including final cleanup and removal of all equipment for the bid by November 15, 2024 unless modified by Change Order.
