Intent: The intent of this solicitation is to select a successful Bidder (Contractor) to provide for Bridge Maintenance for Bridge 924038: Kings Highway over Partin Canal. Bridge Maintenance: Kings Highway over Partin Canal 1. Background: 924038 is the bridge known as "Kings Highway over Partin Canal". This bridge is inspected by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) every two (2) years. Utilizing the inspection report and additional reviews, the set of plans was created to address maintenance issues. 2. Scope of Work: This project will consist of asphalt, joint repairs, channel excavation, rip-rap, bedding stone, guardrail, and other miscellaneous work. Please refer to the Plans that have been uploaded to the Procurement Services SharePoint Online site, which may be accessed through the link reflected on page two (2) of this ITB Document. Intent. It is the intent of this solicitation to engage qualified firms to perform a variety of repair services, installation of new and replacement equipment, and major system rebuilds on the County's Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC-R) equipment and systems Countywide on a task authorization basis. The Awarded Contactor(s) will be responsible for the performance of these services on a task authorization basis, and will ensure that all aspects of the task authorization project services are completed in a timely, legal and efficient manner. The Contractor will furnish all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, transportation, equipment, tools, chemicals, and all other accessories, services and activities necessary for the provision of the HVAC-R services specified herein, on a per-task authorization project basis, throughout Osceola County, and will comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations pertaining to the performance of the services. The County reserves the right to require Performance and Payment Bond for major repair or new installation when in the County's best interest. When required, the successful proposer will furnish a Performance and Payment Bond, or alternative form of performance and payment security such as; a money order, certified or cashier's check, cash (U.S. currency only), or letter of credit. This will guarantee that the contractor will pay all labor and material cost for any/all particular equipment replacement. The amount of the bond would cover the cost of completing and correcting all deficiencies or damages which are the responsibility of the contractor. When a Performance and Payment Bond in required, no commencement of work shall be authorized by the County without receipt of the Performance and Payment Bond or alternative security. Receipt of said Performance and Payment Bond or alternative form of security; shall occur no later than ten (10) calendar days after award of the specific task authorization requiring a Performance and Payment Bond. Question Deadline 08/16/2024 at 12:00 PM ET Questions regarding this solicitation must be received in writing at e via online. Responses to those questions considered material to the solicitation shall be distributed via formal addenda and posted to the Osceola County site online It is anticipated an Agreement will be awarded for a three (3) year term to begin upon approval and execution by the County; with the opportunity for additional one (1) year renewal periods when in the best interest of the County. Total contract length, including all renewals shall not exceed five (5) years. The decision to renew or extend the contract shall be at the discretion of the County. Licensing: It is the Contractors Responsibility to Ensure That Any Work Performed on County Property is Performed by Individuals Who Are Fully Qualified, Certified and/or Licensed to Engage in Such Activity Within the State of Florida and Osceola County. Upon Request of the County's Project Manager or Designee, Credentials Proving Such Qualifications Must Immediately Be Presented. Osceola County reserves the right to waive any formalities, to reject any or all proposals or to re-advertise for proposals for these services.
