Conduct a study to understand all components of the buildings' potable water distribution systems and create as-found drawings. Address: 100 Annacis Parkway, Delta, BC. RCMP Clearance is required. TIMELINE: Request for Quote for Mechanical consultant to conduct a study to understand all components of the buildings' potable water distribution systems and create as-found drawings is underway. The scope of this project is for a Study to be conducted by a qualified professional to understand all components of the building's potable water distribution system. The final deliverable will be the creation of an as-found drawing (1 digital, 1 hard copy) which clearly identifies all components connected to the building's potable water distribution including but not limited to the pipe sizes and valve schedules. The consultant is also required to complete the below and summarize in a formal report: -Inspect the building's plumbing distribution system to identify all components, equipment related to the system, material compositions of the pipes and the presence of pressure variations. Review for the presence of lead containing components and conducting potable water testing the water at the building point of entry for lead, aluminum, and copper (in accordance with Health Canada and PSPCs requirements) to identify if the municipal portion of the building's system contains certain heavy metals that may be impacting the building drinking water, Review the results of the sampling and provide recommendations to identify corrective actions, consultation with municipalities on distribution systems may be required -Review the buildings historical potable water results and recommendations to identify the effectiveness (including ongoing flushing program) of the actions implemented and provide recommendations/improvements where required. *Question Acceptance Deadline: Aug 13, 2024 02:00 PM PDT Official bid documents must be obtained from www.bgis.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
