**As of September 05, 2024 bids received for this project were over the budget and was rejected. As of this time it is unknown if and when project will rebid. The City of Bloomington proposes to contract security upgrades at the Police Department located at 305 S. East Street. The work includes upgrades to the customer service officer (CSO) and criminal investigation division (CID) areas and will include general remodeling, electrical, data and other related modifications. Bid must be accompanied by a Bid guaranty which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Bid. Bid guaranty may be a cashier's check, money order, certified bank check, or a surety bond. All guaranties, except surety bonds, will be deposited and reimbursement checks and surety bonds will be issued to unsuccessful bidders following the bid award. The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price, within ten (10) business days after the bid award.
