Rutherford County will accept bids on the RUTHERFORD COUNTY TRANSFER STATION - SITE WORK. Work will include: Earthwork, storm drainage, erosion prevention and sediment control measures, site lighting, concrete paving, crushed stone parking, pavement striping, site utilities including, electricity, water, sewer, telecommunications. All bidders shall adhere to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act enacted in 1964 which states that "No person in the United States shall, on grounds of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance", state of Tennessee funding, and/or funded by Rutherford County. In addition, Rutherford County will not discriminate in the purchase of all goods and services on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or any other lawfully protected classification. Bids may not be withdrawn for ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening.
