Renovation of an educational facility in Newton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make a written request to the Chief Procurement Officer, at purchasing@newtonma.gov or via facsimile (617) 796-1227. The City will only answer such requests if received by Friday, September 6, 2024 at 12:00 noon. The contractor shall supply, deliver and install approximately 210 fixed polymer back with a blow-molded seat with torsion spring seat lift mechanism auditorium chairs in our Memorial-Spaulding School auditorium. Removal and disposal of the existing chairs is the responsibility of the Contractor. Floor repairs and related ancillary waste is the responsibility of the Owner. Building permits (fee waived) and fees should be factored into this bid as they are required prior to the start of any installation This Invitation For Bids is for auditorium chairs such as Irwin Seating Patriot Model 30.52.00.30 Chair 1 No. 30 One-piece, double-wall, blow-molded polyethylene back, non-upholstered No. 52 Blow-molded seat with torsion spring seat lift mechanism No. 00 No aisle panel No. 30 Chair platform (steel) - floor mounted Supply, Deliver & Install Approximately 210 Auditorium Seats to Memorial-Spaulding Elementary School as outlined in the project documents (REBID).
