*Troop Contracting Inc requests bids emailed to estimating@troopcontracting.com by 8/21/24 at 2:00 PM. Interested parties may attend the bid opening in-person at the Village of Carol Stream Public Works. A Bid Bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid amount must accompany each Bid. The bid security shall be forfeited if the bidder fails or refuses to enter into contract a er his bid is accepted. The Village of Carol Stream is exempt from the Illinois State, municipal or county Retailers Occupation Tax, Service Occupation Tax, Use Tax, and Service Use Tax as described in Illinois Compiled Statute Chapter 35. The Village of Carol Stream has determined that the services to be provided hereunder are subject to the Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/1-12. The successful Bidder shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).
