Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in Syracuse, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Remove, Furnish and Install Two Boilers For the performance of the following services Bid #9 Remove, Furnish and Install Two Boilers. To request a Bid Package, please contact John Palamara at JMPalamara@ocwa.org or at (315) 455- 7061 ext. 3156. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the bid and to reject any and all bids, and to award the contract in whole or in part. 1. Provide and receive written acceptance (by OWNER) of shop drawings, manufacturer detailed specifications of the boiler prior to ordering. 2. Provide HVAC permit and pay associated fees (if applicable, coordinate with OWNER). 3. Isolate the existing KN boilers and disconnect power, gas, condensate, makeup water, control, combustion air, vent, supply and return piping. 4. Remove existing KN boilers. Maintain (1) boiler for emergency re-installation until new boiler startup has been completed 5. Dispose of boilers and associated components offsite. 6. Supply and install two (2) Lochinvar FTX725 boilers, or its equivalent. 7. Provide BACnet interface for controls and data collection. 8. Reconnect existing power, gas, condensate, make up water, control, combustion air, vent, supply and return piping. 9. Fill and purge all air from the system. 10. Start up and place in service. 11. Warranty.
