As of September 27, 2024, project was awarded to Riverview Paving with an awarded amount of $799,627.95. Improvements to Kings Highway Phases 1 & 2 GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: This project involves improvements to Kings Highway. The work includes edge repair consisting of 1,408 SY milling and 350 Tons HMA 19M64 Base Course. Additional work includes 28,300 SY milling & 3,420 Tons HMA 9.5M64 Surface Course. Limits of Base Repair to be determined after the initial 2" milling is complete. Asphalt driveway aprons, driveway repairs, sloped asphalt edges and asphalt curbs are included. Modifications to storm sewer inlets and manholes are scheduled in compliance with the NJDEP Stormwater Regulations Contract Documents may be examined Monday - Friday, except legal holidays, from 9:00AM to 4:00PM, only at the Engineer office VAN CLEEF ENGINEERING ASSOCIATES 755 Memorial Parkway, Suite 110, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865 . The Washington Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or to waive any Bid defect where such defect is not detrimental to the best interest of Washington Township and fairness of the bidding process.
