Cleaning Services at the Following Locations: Administration, Court, and Police Department 100 Commons Way Public Works Building, (different location) 411 Chimney Rock Road Bridgewater Senior Center, (different location) 455 Somerville Drive 1. Empty wastepaper baskets, receptacles, recycling, etc., and replace trash liners as needed. 2. Clean cafeterias (Public Works & Administration Office). 3. Clean restrooms. 4. Clean and disinfect male & female locker rooms and showers in Police Department. 5. Sweep all floor surfaces using chemically treated dust system. 6. Vacuum upholstered furniture. 7. Vacuum all carpeted areas including floor mats at door entrances. 8. Sweep stairways. 9. Hand dust all office furniture, including chairs, file cabinets, bookcases, & window sills with chemically treated dust cloths. 10. Desk tops shall be dusted and spot cleaned. 11. Wash, clean, disinfect, and polish all water fountains and coolers. 12. Damp wipe all finger marks and smudges from entrance doors & light switches. 13. Spot clean noticeable spills and stains on tiled areas. 14. Collect all refuse and recycling (soda cans and newspapers) and remove to designated area. 15. Equipment and cleaning materials will be returned to storage areas. 16. Windows will be closed and doors locked and lights will be turned off. 17. Equipment failures, such as lighting irregularities and plumbing, will be reported to the Township in writing. Bidder shall submit with the bid a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000, payable unconditionally to the Township. Bidder shall submit with the bid a Certificate (Consent of Surety) with Power of Attorney for full amount of bid price from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and acceptable to the Township stating that it will provide said bidder to whom the contract is awarded will furnish Performance and Payment Bonds from an acceptable surety company on behalf of said bidder, in performance security equal to the total amount of the contract, pursuant to statute. Successful bidder shall simultaneously with the delivery of the executed contract, submit an executed bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the acceptable bid as security for the faithful performance of this contract. September 6, 2024 - September 5, 2025 The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive identified irregularities and technicalities, and to award in whole or in part to the lowest responsible bidder, if it is in the best interest of the Township to do so.
