Reference Number: 0000358962 To secure a source to provide for the pick-up, removal and lawful disposal of contaminated soil 1. Picking up considerable quantity (Approx. 150 tons) of contaminated soil taken from a sewer department excavation site. 2. The soil is contaminated with construction debris (plywood, wood scraps, metal, glass, etc.). 3. Soil is presently located at the Organic Yard (610 Nepperhan Avenue Yonkers) 4. Contractor would be picking up the contaminated soil from the Organic Yard and hauling it away. 5. Soil requires some extra processing (screening out the debris) before it can be made suitable for reuse. 6. The hours of operation at yard are Monday through Saturday from 7 AM to 3:00 PM 7. Contractor must comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including without limitation, provision of any required licenses, certifications, etc. Bidders must possess a valid hauler's license issued by the County of Westchester Solid Waste Commission, a copy of which must be submitted with the bid.
