RFP to undertake slope restoration and construction to formalize the Ellis southern trail formerly known as Twenty Valley Trail and link to the existing trail network at the Ontario heritage Trust's Ellis property and the established trails at Ball's Falls in Niagara region. Scope of Work 1. Delineate limits of construction with silt fence and install temporary sediment and erosion control measures and tree protection; 2. Undertake required clearing and grubbing including removal and off-site disposal of any debris; 3. Undertake the slope regrading and backfilling adjacent to the 2987 King Street property; 4. Demolish, removal and disposal of the building structure located south-west of 2987 King Street main building; 5. Construct 3m wide limestone screening trail to the satisfaction of the Site Administrator and as per Contract Drawings; 6. Construct 3m wide timber boardwalk structures with and without hand railings to the satisfaction of the Site Administrator and as per Contract Drawings; 7. Construct armourstone wall and vegetated buttress adjacent to the 2987 King Street property; 8. Grading and topsoil application, installation of erosion control measures including coir matting; 9. Restore the site with native plantings, terraseeding, and sodding as per Restoration Plan and to satisfaction of the Site Administrator; 10. Removal of all sediment and erosion control devices, silt fences, and tree protection fences. Slope needs to be stabilized to prevent further erosion of neighbouring property and a vegetated buttress is required to enable the trail to reconnect on the property.
