Description

Renovation of a residential development in Charleston, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

The work consists of vacant apartment painting at various developments. Contractors shall have 3 years minimum experience. Charleston-Kanawha Housing reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding process. The Housing Authority is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, creed, national origin, sex, familial status, disability, religion or age. The contractor shall completely paint all ceilings white and all walls shall be painted interactive cream except for Lee Terrace, and Carroll Terrace (that special color paint will be provided). Contractors shall be required to check paint provided and mix if needed prior to painting. Contractors shall not run rollers dry during the applications of paint. Contractors to use Paint Materials provided by CKHA. Contractors shall paint units in the following sequence: Paint all ceilings - using the eggshell white paint provided Paint all walls - using the eggshell tinted paint provided Paint all doors and trim - using the SEMI GLOSS paint provided. Note: closet doors with a Formica finish are not to be painted. Exterior doors shall be painted using SNAP DRY paint to match existing color
