Renovation of a multi-residential development in Waymart, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Bids are invited on the following: Gravity Plane Apartments Siding, Windowv, and Door Replacement: The work includes the removal of existing vinyl siding, window replacement, and exterior door replacement on 5 Apartment Buildings and a Laundry Building. The approximate area of vinyl siding for all buildings is 18,950 square feet. Vinyl siding will be replaced with one of two alternatives: 1) Hardie Exterior Siding or an approved equal or 2) Vinyl Siding. There are 123 Windows of various sizes and types and 50 exterior doors that will be replaced with insulated fiber glass and Steel doors. A certified check or bank draft payable to Wayne County Housing Authority or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder, and an acceptable Surety in an amount equal to 10% of the total Bid, shall be submitted with each bid The Housing Authority reserve the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities in the Bidding. Bids may be held by the Authority for a period not to exceed 90 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the Bidder, prior to the award of the Contract. The Contract will be awarded to the bidder that submits the lowest Responsible bid on the base bid. If alternates are accepted, the bid will be awarded to the contractor submitting the lowest responsible bid total for the base bid plus the alternate.
