Renovation of a mixed-use development in North Saanich, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

This is the Phase 2 solicitation following an Invitation to Qualify. Only qualified suppliers have been invited to bid. Work Description: The work will encompass the remediation of the Ocean Chemistry and Administration Roofs (with option for the Ocean Ecology Roof) at the Fisheries and Oceans Canada – Institute of Ocean Sciences facility located in Sidney, BC. The Work includes, but is not limited to, the following general scope: - Site Demolition of roof areas to be replaced. Making good any collateral damage created by the demolition including damage to the building and or the site. - Disposal of all materials removed. Replacement of all roof assemblies Tarps and hoarding to protect interior areas from water ingress during removal and replacement of roof systems To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost approximately between $1,000,001.00 and $5,000,000.00 (GST included).
