Question Deadline 08/19/2024 at 2:00 PM The New York State Office of General Services Design and Construction Group (D&C), on behalf of the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH), is seeking Letters of Interest from qualified architectural/engineering firms to provide consulting, design, bid and construction phase services to provide a 12,000 square foot, 25-bed Transitional Living Residence (TLR) on the South Campus of the Creedmoor Psychiatric Center located in Queens Village, NY. Term: 3 Years MBE Goal: 15% WBE Goal: 15% SDVOB Goal: 6% Project Information Firms are expected to provide high quality architectural design services for the Office of Mental Health (OMH). Assignments may include the following: Compliance with the latest building code including review of work done by others for compliance with applicable codes. Application of energy efficiency and sustainability in compliance with the Governor's Executive Order 22. The firm(s) must also be experienced in providing Commissioning services. Fire protection/fire alarm engineering, structural/civil/site engineering, and architecture. Hazardous material investigation and design services for the remediation/ removal of such materials as part of the work of this contract. Connection to existing water, sewage and/or stormwater systems and associated permit requirements. Possible construction management and/or construction inspection services as advisor to the owner. Review of other designed/constructed OMH Transitional Living Residence buildings to best provide an effective new design for staff, occupants, program delivery and safety.
