Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids for Pace Library Flooring Replacement. Reposition furniture/shelving, remove existing flooring and cove base from perimeter walls within the work areas. Clean the surfaces and prepare for installation of new carpet tile and 4" cove base. The work area contains four (4) rooms, the main gallery, the workroom, the study and the manager's office. The flooring contractor is responsible for coordinating the work schedule with Facility Management. The books and library material will be removed and repositioned by others. All work shall be neat and in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines, with all the furniture/shelving and workstations returned to their original positions upon completion of the installation. Estimates should include the labor/materials/supervision price for removal, clean/prepare, install, and cleanup. Questions concerning this request should be submitted electronically by 12:00 pm on Monday, August 5, 2024. All inquiries on the scope of work, specifications, additional requirements, attachments, terms and general conditions or instructions, or any issue must be directed in writing, via electronically. Any addenda or other modification to the bid documents will be issued by the County prior to the date and time of bid closing, as written addenda, and will be posted electronically.
