Reference Number: 0000358820 Equipment will be rented on an as-needed basis and the CITY is under no obligation to rent specific equipment listed herein. The Contractor shall provide proof of valid certification/licensure for each crane operator providing services under the term of this agreement. The bidder is required to be in the business of renting utility construction equipment for a minimum of five (5) years with volumes and services that are similar in size and scope to those expected by the City of this award. A Certified Check or Bank Check for five (5%) percent of the total amount of the Bid, made payable to the City of Mount Vernon or a Bid Bond for five (5%) percent of the total Bid to be held by the City of Mount Vernon as a guaranty that in the event the Bid is accepted and a Contract awarded to the Bidder, the Contract will be duly executed and its performance properly secured as set out in the Instructions to Bidders. General Requirements - Insurance Required - License Required The City of Mount Vernon reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any requirements set forth in the specifications which it does not deem material to the proposal, if it deems such rejection and/or waiver(s) in the best interests of the city.
