Site work for a water / sewer project in Danvers, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of September 3, 2024 project is not awarded yet. The proposed work will involve replacement of approximately 5,000 linear feet of existing water mains with new 6, 8, and 12-inch ductile iron water mains within the paved road surface and shoulder of roadway, and installation of new copper water services to each property and removal and replacement of drain pipes as indicated. The work will involve installation of temporary water mains above the ground during construction, excavation to remove existing water mains and install new water mains and services. Following installation of the new water mains and services, the excavated areas will be backfilled and paved within the existing road surface or loamed and seeded in the shoulder areas. Once the work is complete, the temporary water mains will be removed. The work also includes temporary and permanent trench paving and replacement of pavement markings.
