Site work for a civil project in Enumclaw, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

248th Avenue Lift Station Conveyance Upgrades The scope of improvements includes the installation of about 2,500 feet of new 8-inch and 12-inch sanitary sewer mains via open cut trenching along 248th Avenue SE, SE 433rd Street, and McHugh Avenue. These mains will connect to a future lift station to be constructed at the intersection of 248th Avenue SE and SE 433rd Street. In addition, approximately 3,700 feet of new sanitary sewer force main will be installed along SE 433rd Avenue, McHugh Avenue, and Loraine Street. The force main along Loraine Street is within an easement and unimproved right-of-way. The force main will be installed via open cut trenching except for a 550-foot section that will be horizontal directionally drilled to avoid a known cultural artifact field. Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to and clicking on Posted Projects Public Works and City of Enumclaw. Bidders must Register in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the Self-Registered Bidders List. Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda. Written questions regarding the project may be directed to the Project Engineer, Scott Woodbury P.E., at No response will be made to questions unless they are submitted in writing. The City of Enumclaw is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (small, minority- and women-owned businesses) are encouraged to submit bids. All work performed on the project will be subject to the State of Washington Prevailing Wage requirements. It is anticipated that this project will be funded in part by the Washington State Department of Ecology. Neither the State of Washington nor any of its departments or employees are, or shall be, a party to any contract or any subcontract resulting from this solicitation for bids. The Successful bidder will be required to conform to the wage requirements prescribed by the federal Davis-Bacon and Relate Acts which requires that all laborers and mechanics employed by contractors and subcontractors performing on contracts funded in whole or in part by SRF appropriations in excess of $2,000 pay their laborers and mechanics not less than the prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits, and determined by the Secretary of Labor, for corresponding classes of laborers and mechanics employed on similar projects in the area.
