Renovation of a residential development in Melrose, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Remove and replace (3) existing exterior and (3) interior doors and frames at specified locations. Provide one (1) automatic door opener at specified exterior door. GENERAL SCOPE OF THE WORK A. The Work of the Contract consists of: 1. Demolition: The contractor shall remove and properly dispose or recycle of the following exiting materials: i. Existing exterior doors (3) and frames ii. Existing interior doors (3) and frames 2. Preparation: The contractor shall take necessary steps to properly prepare area of work for the following: i. Existing masonry openings evaluate existing condition, clean up and repair adjacent surfaces as necessary for installation of new doors ii. Waterproofing and sealing at exterior doors 3. Installation: The contractor shall furnish and install the following: i. Exterior steel doors and frames (3) ii. Interior door (3) iii. Automatic door opener system (1) 4. Work either shown on the Drawings or included in the specifications unless specifically indicated not to be done. 5. Work outside the Project site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required fro the performance of the Work 6. The restoration of any items damaged or destroyed by encroaching upon areas outside of the project site. 7. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities.
