Site work for a civil project in Independence Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work of the project shall include mobilization, ground water storage tank demolition and ground water storage tank installation, water piping demolition and water piping installation, overflow inlet installation, site restorations, demobilization, and miscellaneous associated tasks. Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check or bid bond, made payable to the Township of Allamuchy, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not to exceed $20,000.00. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an acceptable surety company, agreeing to furnish the required Performance (100%), Payment (100%) and Maintenance Bonds upon award of this Contract. All surety bonds in connection with the advertisement and award of this Contract must be written by a surety company whose qualification and authority to issue bonds in New Jersey has been certified by the New Jersey Commissioner of Insurance pursuant to the provisions of NJSA 17:17-1 et seq. The right is reserved to reject any or all Bids, in whole or in part, or to make awards to such Bidder who, in the judgement of the Township of Allamuchy makes the most advantageous bid and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law.
