The purpose of the ITB is to solicit bids from responsive and responsible bidders to establish a contract(s) for the provision of emergency generator maintenance and repair for the City of Hampton and Hampton City Schools. Repairs shall be done on an on-call, as needed basis. The contractor shall provide qualified Electrician(s) / Mechanics (s), as required, to perform the routine maintenance and repair to all City of Hampton owned emergency generators located at various locations. Contractor personnel shall have transportation, tools, test equipment, etc. required to perform the task. The contractor shall provide personnel that are experienced and knowledgeable in the maintenance and repair of engine driven generators manufactured by various manufacturers including but not limited to: o Caterpillar o Kohler o Cummins o Generac o John Deere Bidders must submit questions regarding the ITB in writing to the Issuing Office via email to alicia.brown@hampton.gov no later than 3:30 PM EST on August 13, 2024. This Contract shall continue in force for the term of one (1) year. This Contract may be extended upon the mutual agreement of both parties for up to four (4) optional, one (1) year periods upon the same prices, terms, and conditions as set forth in this Contract and the ITB.
