The purpose of this Request for Quotes (RFQ) is to solicit quotes from qualified Contractors for the replacement of an existing dishwashing machine at the Newport News Juvenile Detention Center, located at 350 25th Street Newport News, VA. 23607, in accordance with the specifications of this RFQ. The existing dishwashing machine is failing and is determined to be nearing the end of its useful life. A. The project consists of the replacement of the existing dishwashing machine at the Newport News Juvenile Detention Center. B. Contractor shall remove and dispose of the existing dishwasher. C. Contractor shall furnish and install a new conveyor type dishwasher and complete all connections for operation of the dishwasher. D. Contractor shall provide electrical whips for connection to the dishwasher, as well as stainless steel ductwork for connection of the vent hood. E. The required dishwasher shall be a CMA Dish Machines, Model EST-66 with E- Temp Booster Heater or an approved equal which must meet/possess the following: 1. Conveyor type. 2. Overall maximum dimensions - 66" length, 25 1/8" wide, & 56 1/2 " height. 3. Right to left operation. 4. Low or high temperature sanitizing. 5. 4 stage wash process: 2 wash cycles, power heated rinse, & final rinse. 6. Capacity: 249 racks per hour & 19" clearance. 7. Power rinse heater system. 8. Automatic water control system. 9. Automatic soil purging system. 10. Stainless steel scrap accumulator. 11. Chemical resistant heaters. 12. Table limit switch & rack save clutch system. 13. Removable curtains. 14. Stainless steel construction. 15. 1 open & 1 peg rack. 16. Motors: 1 HP wash motor, 1/3 HP rinse motor, & 1/8 HP conveyor motor. 17. Electrical: 480v, 3 phase, 26 amps. 18. Booster heater with 70 deg temperature rise. 19. Vent hood with damper control.
