Deadline for RFP Questions August 14, 2024 at Noon The 13.8KV electrical switch gear located in Keller has been failing. The rated air insulated switchgear at the Keller Hall Building is beyond its useful life . The University would like to renew and replace the 13.8KV electrical equipment and switch gear. The University seeks the services of a General Contractor (GC)/Electrical Contractor to include the following 1. Replacement of affected electrical switch gears as well as all associated equipment. 2. Specifications for the new equipment. The GC will work with both Energy Management (EM) and Facilities Management (FM) to provide submittals and shop Drawings that will be approved and used for purchasing and ordering of all long lead items and equipment. 3. The GC will work closely with FM and EM to coordinate the equipment replacement and sequence of events in the occupied building, including a phasing plan to minimize outages. 4. The GC will work closely with the University's Electrical Utilities group to conduct commissioning. Please note Commissioning plans will not be required. 5.
