For the following: Item Number: 1 Quantity: 115 Unit: SY Description: Pothole Patching Item Number: 1 Quantity:4700 Unit: SY Description: Double Layer Bituminous Seal Coat Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $870.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. For third class cities the bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid. made payable to the municipality. For other municipal types it is the discretion of the municipality. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Contractor clean out and sweep existing potholes. Contractor to apply oil to the pothole area. Contractor to apply a double layer of Bituminous Seal Coat to the areas of the pothole patching. Aggregate for both operations will be furnished by the municipality. All work is to be done as per MS-0340-0005. Contractor to contact municipal representative prior to bidding for repair areas
