PRE-BID CONFERENCE: Yes/TBD SUMMARY A. This Section includes the following: 1. Demolition and removal of buildings and site improvements. 2. Removing below-grade construction. 3. Disconnecting, capping or sealing, and removing site utilities. 4. Salvaging items for reuse by Owner. B. ALTERNATE #1 (ALT 1): The careful selective demolition of the exterior canopy covering, it's structure attached, metal columns and column bases. This scope shall also include repairs to the metal wall panels where required at structural framing and patch repair to the concrete base where structural steel columns are removed. C. ALTERNATE #2 (ALT 2): The rebuilding of the steel canopy and reconstructing its structural steel framing, some excavation and new construction of foundation bases for new installation of structural steel columns and framing of the canopy. New pre-finished metal gutters and downspouts draining to grade are also to be installed. All exterior exposed structural steel is to be prepared for and finished with a high-performance architectural coating. The new pre-finished metal standing seam roof system is designed to be constructed to meet current code for structural and wind loads and uplift requirements. Question Deadline 08/09/2024
