Reference Number: 0000359288 The Village of Beverly Hills, Michigan is requesting submission of proposals from a licensed landscape architect, architect, or engineer for services as the Prime Professional to the Village of Beverly Hills related to the above referenced project. The Prime Professional will provide design services including development of plans, specifications, and bidding documents, assist the Village in the bidding process and provide construction administration for the project Question Deadline 08/13/2024 at 4:00 PM ET, Questions or requests for interpretation of the terms and conditions of this RFP and scope of work must be made by e-mail to Kristin Rutkowski, Assistant Village Manager, at krutkowski@villagebeverlyhills.com A list of questions received with responses will be issued as an addendum that will be posted no later than Friday, August 16, 2024. Project Period. This project is funded with Federal funds. The project must be completed, and all disbursements made prior to October 31, 2026. The Prime Professional is responsible for overseeing the project through completion, including final inspection to certify that all aspects of the project were carried out satisfactorily. The project is funded in part by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources Spark Grant and by the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA). The role and responsibilities of a Prime Professional are defined in the Michigan Spark Grant Project Procedures handbook. The Prime Professional must comply with applicable and related requirements including, but not limited to, the 1976 PA 453 (Elliot-Larsen Civil Rights Act); and the 1976 PA 220 (Persons with Disabilities Civil Rights Act), as amended. Background The Village of Beverly Hills was awarded a Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Spark Grant to demolish and install the playground equipment and surface at Beverly Park, the Village's largest recreation area. The Village's Parks and Recreation Board, Village Council, and the DNR, through the Spark Grant application process, already approved a conceptual plan for the proposed playground equipment. The Conceptual Plan is attached to this RFP. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
