Description of Work: Project consists of three individual locations, Intersection of Windsor Road and Forest Hills Road, 6410 Riverside Blvd. and 6220 Johns Street. The work will include concrete & HMA pavement removal/replacement, storm sewer structure reconstruction/adjustment, curb & gutter removal/replacement, trench drain removal/replacement, striping, signage and restoration. 4. Other Bidding Information: Not less than the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Department of Labor or determined by the court upon review shall be paid to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract. The City of Loves Park is exempt from Illinois state, municipal, or county Retailers Occupation Tax, Service Occupation Tax, and Service Use Tax as described in Illinois Compiled Statute Chapter 35. Bid prices shall not include the cost of such taxes. All bids must be accompanied by a Bidder's bond, certified check, bank cashier's check, or bank draft payable to the City of Loves Park for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid as provided in the Bidder instructions. All bids must be accompanied by Affidavit of Compliance with City of Loves Park Ordinance No. 3941-14, establishing Responsible Bidder Requirements for Public Works Projects.
