The Town Board of the Town of Southampton reserves the right to waive any informalities in proposals received and/or reject any or all proposals. Respondents must comply with all Federal, State, and local laws. All statement of qualifications will be compared based on the totality of the presentation regarding Professional Architectural, Engineering, and Surveying Services. The Town reserves the right to award a Contract to the respondents who, in the Town's sole determination, offer statements of qualifications that outline qualifications that are in the best interests of the Town. Additional information may be requested from any given respondent. Following the date and time when statements of qualifications are due, the envelope or package containing the statement of qualifications from each responding firm will be opened by Town personnel. The opening of the statements of qualifications is not open to prospective respondents or the public. Statements of qualifications are subject to change, clarification and negotiation following the receipt date; therefore, the proposals will be treated as confidential until the resultant contract is awarded or when a recommendation is made to award the contract. The term of this Contract shall begin at the date of execution of the contract by the Town Supervisor or his/her designee, and shall expire four (4) years thereafter. The Town shall have the option to renew the contract for the amount of time, in its sole discretion, the Town deems appropriate. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
