M. The Town of Twillingate Was Planning on Renovating Their Existing Fire Hall but Due to the Costs of the Proposed Renovation It Has Been Determined That It Will Be More Cost Effective to Construct a New Fire Hall on a Parcel of Town Owned Land Adjacent to the Existing Town Hall. As Such the Town of Twillingate Wishes to Design a New Fire Hall. This New Fire Hall Shall Be Designed to All of the Standards as Indicated in the Included Fire Hall Programming Guide as Found in Appendix G. The Town Has Agreed on the Floor Plan Layout and Configuration as Shown Below and the New Fire Hall Shall Be Designed on Placed on a Parcel of Land That the Town Owns as Shown Below. The Successful Proponent Will Work With the Town of Twillingate to Determine What Equipment Can Be Transferred From the Existing Fire Hall to the New Fire Hall. Any Equipment That is Deficient That is Required for the New Space Shall Be Included in the Design Under This Scope of Work. For the Purposes of This Rfp No Concept Development is Required as the Town of Twillingate Has Signed Off on the Below Floor Plan Layout. The Design Proposed Has Been Used on 3 Recent Fire Halls and This Information is Publicly Available in the Merx System for Drawings and Specifications. The Successful Proponent Must Provide Their Own Tender Drawings and Specifications Specific for This Site in Twillingate and Provide All Necessary Surveying and Servicing for Water and Sewer and Site Drainage and Possible Pole Relocations.
