New construction of an educational facility in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 107,612-square-foot educational facility.

Each Offeror must submit the following items to Laurie Pruett lpruett@pasadenaisd.org no later than 4:00 PM on Thursday, August 22, 2024: 1. A properly executed and current Contractor's Qualification Statement, AIA Document A305, including contractor's references and history of work. A current email address must be included for each reference. Budget: $33,625,000.00 A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in an amount not less than 100% of the Contract Sum, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the Contract, will be required. A certified check, payable to the Owner, or an acceptable Bid Bond (Document 00 43 13, Bid Security Form), in an amount not less than 10% of the greatest amount bid. The Work of this project includes phased construction of a new elementary school to replace an existing school on the project site. Work will include, but is not limited to the following: i) Demolition of the existing buildings. ii) Structural steel framing with fireproofing for Type IB construction. iii) Light gage steel stud framed exterior wall assembly with masonry clad exterior facing. iv) Single-ply membrane roofing over insulated steel roof deck. v) Standing seam metal roofing over insulated steel roof deck. vi) Aluminum framed storefront and curtainwall fenestration. vii) Hydraulic elevator. viii) Food service equipment. ix) Scheduled interior finishes. x) Mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems. xi) Site work for utilities, earthwork, drainage, storm water detention, paving for parking and drives. xii) Landscaping and irrigation. xiii) Technology, communications, AV and security systems. Reference Technology Responsibility Matrix, Drawing Sheet T5.00. xiv) Related items as required for a complete construction project as indicated in the construction documents. PHASED CONSTRUCTION 1) The Work shall be conducted in multiple phases, with each phase substantially complete as indicated: a) Phase 1 Construction: i) Two portable buildings shall be demolished and removed by the Contractor to provide adequate area to construct the new building. ii) Other existing temporary or portable buildings will remain in place during this phase. iii) Modify site utilities to remain in service during construction as indicated in construction documents. iv) Perform Work indicated for temporary parking in designated area adjacent to the site. v) Upon removal of portable buildings, proceed with construction of the new building to substantial completion for occupancy. vi) Work of this phase shall include partial demolition of existing drive and construction of new drives at Almeda Genoa Road, construction of the new building, designated parking and drives, site work, new utility services, and on-site storm water detention storage. vii) Work of this phase shall commence on October 1, 2024 and be substantially complete by December 15, 2025. b) Phase 2 Construction: i) Hazardous materials abatement and subsequent demolition of the existing building. ii) Demolition of existing drives and parking areas. iii) Complete construction of new drives and parking areas that were constructed in Phase 01. iv) Complete site utilities and remaining site work v) Restore temporary parking areas to original state. vi) Work of this phase shall commence on December 15, 2025 and be substantially complete by July 1, 2026.
