The purpose of this event is to receive proposals for consultation services during both the design and construction phases of the Forsyth Parking Garage project and new garage at the Eastern Wharf site. The Forsyth Garage project will consist of a 450-space parking garage located underneath two (2) (or more) office buildings. The Eastern Wharf garage will have 600-700 spaces and approximately 250 residential units built around or above the garage. The garages are being built by separate developers using separate development agreements. The garage will adhere to the following specifications: 2.1.1 The garages need to use common systems (gates, point of sale, IT, etc.) that are used in other City garages. 2.1.2 Several mechanical/structural elements will be shared between the garage and the remaining structure for both garages. 2.1.3 The garages will contain a wayfinding system that match the other City garages. 2.1.4 The Eastern Wharf garage will have designated nested areas. 2.1.5 The Eastern Wharf garage will have designated nested areas. 2.1.6 The Eastern Wharf garage is expected to be a podium to residential units above. 2.1.7 Four (4) ingress and egress points are needed at the Eastern Wharf garage. 2.2 The City and the developers will agree to a guaranteed maximum price with the developer prior to the start of construction. The proposer will review and comment on the scope of work, the proposed fee structure, the final contract value, and the proposed facility programming, design, and construction process for the Forsyth Parking Garage and the Eastern Wharf garage.
